The Erasmus+ DILDENT Project, supported by the Turkish National Agency, gained new momentum through its second international meeting held on 9–10 October 2025, hosted by the University of Palermo.
During this meaningful gathering, the project partners — Zonguldak Bülent Ecevit University (Coordinating Institution),
Çanakkale Onsekiz Mart University, University of Brescia, University of Valencia, and MELLIS EdTech — came together to develop innovative solutions for digital dentistry education.
The first day began with the presentation of key project documents shaping the project roadmap:
The University of Palermo presented the quality management plan,
Çanakkale Onsekiz Mart University introduced the risk management plan,
the University of Brescia shared the visibility plan,
and the University of Valencia presented the social media and dissemination strategy.
During the afternoon sessions, intensive discussions were carried out under WP2 (Project Management) and WP3 (Digital Content Development and Gamification), focusing on standardized dental treatment protocols, translation schedules, and gamified learning processes.
The second day started with a review of project management documents. The partners reached a consensus on the development of interactive educational games, the planning of local workshops, and the distribution of upcoming tasks.
Enriched not only by scientific presentations but also by cultural activities, this meeting once again demonstrated that the DILDENT Project is not merely a technical collaboration, but also a reflection of a shared vision across Europe.
Held within the historic atmosphere of Palermo, this productive meeting marked the beginning of a new era in digital dentistry education.
