The third international partners meeting of the DILDENT Project, implemented under the Erasmus+ KA220-HED programme, was held on 23–24 April 2026 in Valencia, Spain, hosted by the University of Valencia. Representing Çanakkale Onsekiz Mart University, İlgi Tosun and Cumali Yaşar participated in the meeting.
The DILDENT Project is coordinated by Zonguldak Bülent Ecevit University and carried out in partnership with Çanakkale Onsekiz Mart University, University of Brescia, University of Palermo, University of Valencia, and Mellis Eğitim Teknoloji Ticaret Limited Şirketi.
During the two-day meeting, discussions focused on digital interactive dentistry education, harmonized treatment protocols, gamification-based learning tools, pilot implementations, quality evaluation processes, and dissemination activities. One of the key agenda items under WP4 was the planning of an international conference aimed at increasing the global visibility of the DILDENT Project, which is scheduled to be hosted by Çanakkale Onsekiz Mart University in Çanakkale.
As part of the Valencia meeting programme, participants also visited the simulation laboratories, practical training laboratories used by students, and the faculty museum at the University of Valencia, where they had the opportunity to examine examples of applied dental education practices.
Through the DILDENT Project, Çanakkale Onsekiz Mart University continues to strengthen Europe-wide academic collaborations in the fields of digital health education, serious games, simulation-based learning, and innovative educational technologies.
